The current is applied using a very thin needle which is fed down inside each individual hair follicle. Once the hair has been treated it is remover with tweezers. Depending on the strength of the hair it might grow back, but if it does it will be much softer, thinner and not as dark. The area may need to be treated several times before the follicle is disabled permanently. Electrolysis is a very effective treatment and is mostly used to remove unwanted facial hair from the lip and chin area. Don't think you are the only person suffering from this problem, 90% of women have unwanted facial hair and we have a lot of clients using this treatment.

Q: Does it hurt?
A: Unfortunately it is not painless but it is not as bad as some may think. I generally feels like little pin pricks and the current is only used for 2 seconds.

Q: How do I know how much time to book?
A: For your first treatment you will be booked out for 15 minutes which allows your therapist to give you a consultation and assess the situation, whilst also receiving the treatment. After this your therapist can advise you as to where to go from there.

After your treatment...

No make up or perfumed creams should be applied for 12 hours after treatment. If your skin complains, Savlon etc can be applied to soothe it.
